The Bay City Rollers' single "Keep on Dancing" had reached number 9 in the charts in 1971 but repeated success continued to elude them. The year after their Strath date they had four top ten hits with  with "Remember", "Shang-A-Lang", "Summerlove Sensation" and "All of me loves all of you". "Bye, Bye, Baby" reached number one in 1975 and was the springboard for their global success.
