One of the most up and coming bands in Ireland. Brass section, Hammond organ, etc playing all selections of music catering for young and old.

The Management would like to apologise for the non-appearance of the Verge but this was outside their control.

Sept 8/9          Maxi’s Taxi      6 piece band from Dundee       

                         2 coloured vocalists, lead guitar, bass guitar, drums, Hammond organ/lead guitar.

A band that was followed last week in the South by three coaches for 100 miles just to hear them once again. So please Taxi to Strathpeffer to hear the Maxi playing Commercial music, Top Ten, Soul, Rock and Roll

                        Clockwork Orange playing at Strathpeffer. Lead guitar, bass guitar, drums, tenor sax, flute along with a                               famous girl vocalist.



Clockwork Orange originally formed as 'The Blackadders' in the Scottish Borders in the mid 60s. They went through several changes of personnel with members going on to forge successful careers in other fields. The band morphed into ‘Bedtime Story’ and continued touring in Scotland and the north of England. A third incarnation of Clockwork Orange continued to tour but folded in the mid 70s.
